FAQ

How do I know if my RSVP went through?

If you see the page that reads “Jim and Karen have received your RSVP,” then you know your RSVP has been received. If you would like to be extra sure your RSVP was received, please contact Jim and Karen via email at rsvp@jimmarrieskaren.com

Can I change my RSVP?

On the RSVP page, you may see a link to edit your RSVP. If you do not, you can modify your RSVP by contacting Jim and Karen via email at rsvp@jimmarrieskaren.com

How do I get to the ceremony?

There are links to the Google Maps directions as well as printer-friendly written directions for the ceremony on the Venue: Ceremony page.

How do I get to the hotel/reception?

There are links to the Google Maps directions as well as printer-friendly written directions for the reception location, which is the same as the hotel and after party location, on the Venue: Reception page.

What have you decided about the wedding so far?

The most up to date way to see this is to view the Decisions category from the blog posts.  For what it’s worth, I’m usually much more talkative in a blog post than in person.

Can you give me some guidance on what to wear?

Jim and Karen’s wedding will be black tie optional, as in, you can wear a tuxedo if you have one, but a dark colored suit is also fine. Full length, formal dresses are preferred over shorter, cocktail dresses. Keep in mind that, weather permitting, the cocktail hour will be outdoors on a patio with commercial heaters.

Are you having a full Catholic mass?

No. Our wedding at St. John’s is a ceremony only, which we expect to last approximately 30 minutes. There will be no sacrament of communion.

What are your wedding’s colors?

Our colors are silver and wine red.
